It's wrong but I really like the phrase "Coney-Island ways".

Michigan has a wonderful culture of lake cottages; a lot of auto workers were able to buy tiny second homes in Northern Michigan.

I always low key dread the time when people discover how gorgeous Michigan is.

I can easily imagine a mid 1970's Billy Joel or Paul Simon song in which he bitterly complains about an ex-girlfriend's "Coney Island ways"

Yes! Or Lucille Bluth throwing shade on her husband's mistress.

It really is beautiful; I discovered that in a trip with my RV a couple of years ago. Mostly stayed in the state parks, all very nice. I live in Ohio, so I'll be back. I guess I can promise not to tell anybody, though!

Funny. Love Blocked n Reported. I’ve been having bizarre-o dreams lately, like one where I was ‘growing’ Piranhas in a room. They were these little brown nasty growing nubs which somehow would magically became Piranhas. I remember sand somehow in the room. A deep sense of dread and fear.
